AIG Welcomes Juan Perez to Board of Directors
American International Group (AIG), Inc., a global leader in insurance, has announced the appointment of Juan Perez, the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Salesforce, as an Independent Director on its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
With over three decades of extensive experience in driving strategic technology initiatives for Fortune 500 companies, Perez stands out as a distinguished technology executive. His profound expertise encompasses areas such as artificial intelligence, data strategy, and digital transformation.
In his current role as CIO at Salesforce, Perez is responsible for overseeing the global IT organization and formulating data strategy while also providing valuable insights into product strategy. Before joining Salesforce, he served as CIO and Engineering Officer at UPS, where he played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s capabilities in advanced analytics and spearheading the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, including AI.
Currently, Perez is a board member of both The Hershey Company and Wabtec Corporation. He also contributes to the academic community by serving on the advisory boards of the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California and the School of Business at Georgia Tech.
