Zurich Insurance has recently elevated Alex Todd to the prestigious position of Chief Underwriting Officer for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. With a career spanning over two decades, Todd brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, particularly in the Property sector, with a pronounced emphasis on the APAC market.
Joining Zurich Insurance in August 2023 as the Head of Short-Tail Lines for APAC, Todd is well-prepared for his new responsibilities. His prior experience includes a successful tenure at Chubb, where he served as the Head of Property, Asia, for over two years. Before his time at Chubb, Todd dedicated nine years to AIG, holding several leadership positions within the Property division, ultimately rising to the role of Head of Commercial Property, APAC.
At the onset of his career, Todd honed his skills as a Senior Property Underwriter in Australia with Chartis. Additionally, he amassed significant experience during his eight-year stint at Royal & Sun Alliance, where he undertook multiple roles, further solidifying his expertise in the insurance industry.
