Ryan Specialty Announces New Leadership Role
Ryan Specialty LLC has appointed Dawn D’Onofrio as the executive vice president and global chief underwriting officer of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, its specialty underwriting unit.
Reporting Structure: She will report to Miles Wuller, CEO of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, in this newly created role.
Previous Experience: Based in Miami, Ms. D’Onofrio was previously the CEO of WKFC Underwriting Managers Inc., AgRisk Underwriters, and Ryan Specialty’s national programs business. She was recognized as a Business Insurance 2016 Women to Watch winner.
Transition Announcement: This appointment begins a 90-day transition of WKFC and AgRisk to Velocity Risk Underwriters LLC, which Ryan Specialty recently acquired.
Leadership Continuity: Ravi Singhvi, president of WKFC, will continue to lead WKFC and AgRisk as the attritional property specialty business of the merged entity, according to a statement from Ryan Specialty.
