An Important Appointment at Allianz Turkey
Allianz Turkey made an important management appointment as of the new year. Emrah Gökmen, who previously served as Health Insurance Director, was appointed as Assistant General Manager of Elementary Individual Insurance. As of January 1, 2024, Gökmen will assume his new position and will continue to serve as a member of the Executive Board at Allianz Turkey.
Emrah Gökmen had been serving as the Head of Health Insurance Product and Actuarial Group at Allianz Turkey since 2018. In his new position, he will contribute to the achievement of the company’s strategic goals by providing leadership in the field of elementary individual insurance.
Emrah Gökmen graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Mathematics in English and completed his master’s degree in Actuarial Science at Bahçeşehir University. Mr. Gökmen started his career as a research and development specialist in reinsurance and later worked as Retail Product and Pricing Specialist at Allianz.
Mr. Gökmen joined Allianz Turkey in 2018 after continuing his career as Sales and Implementation Leader for Non-Life Insurance at a global software and consulting company. Here, as the Health Insurance Director, he carried out important projects and drew attention with his experience in the sector.
The fact that Emrah Gökmen will lead the elementary individual insurance branch in his new role is considered as a great opportunity in terms of Allianz Turkey’s growth targets.
