Qatar Insurance Company Partners with Alfardan Automotive to Revolutionize Digital Services for Car Owners
Qatar Insurance Company (QIC), a leading insurer in Qatar and the MENA region, has announced a strategic collaboration with Alfardan Automotive, a prominent entity in Qatar’s luxury automotive sector. This partnership is aimed at enhancing the digital experiences of car owners and drivers across Qatar.
The agreement was formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by QIC Group CEO Salem Al Mannai and Alfardan Automotive CEO Dr. Ma’n Alhamawi. This collaboration will see the integration of Alfardan Automotive’s premium services into the QIC App, offering users a comprehensive suite of vehicle-related solutions.
Thanks to this partnership, Qatar’s motorists can now access an array of automotive services through the QIC App. These services include car rentals for luxury brands such as BMW, Mini, Land Rover, and Jaguar. Additionally, users can take advantage of detailing services, vehicle check-ups, and a range of repairs, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and tire services at Alfardan Automotive’s state-of-the-art facilities.
“This marks a significant milestone in our quest to build the region’s pioneering insurance-powered digital ecosystem, aimed at providing convenient, reliable, and high-quality digital services,” expressed Al Mannai. “The QIC App is conceived as a comprehensive solution for all drivers and car owners in Qatar, and I am optimistic that integrating Alfardan Automotive’s top-tier services into our digital platform will herald a new era of seamless digital experiences in Qatar.”
Dr. Alhamawi emphasized the transformative potential of digital technology within the automotive industry. “Our partnership with QIC is a strategic initiative designed to enhance customer interactions by seamlessly merging cutting-edge technology with our premium services,” he remarked.
The QIC App has garnered significant recognition, winning accolades such as the Mobile App of the Year in Qatar at the Insurance Asia Awards 2024. Notably, the non-insurance services available on the app are managed by Anoud Technologies LLC.
