International specialty insurance firm Ryan Specialty has recently announced the appointment of Eric Quinn as the new President of its specialty underwriting segment, Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers (RSUM), effective immediately. This significant promotion marks a strategic shift, as Miles Wuller, the CEO of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, separates the title of President from his own leadership role.
With over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, Quinn has a proven track record of leading successful underwriting operations and implementing innovative product development and portfolio optimization strategies across various lines of business. He became part of Ryan Specialty through the merger with All Risks, Ltd. in 2020. Prior to this promotion, he held the position of Executive Vice President, Capital & Product Strategy at RSUM.
Before joining Ryan Specialty, Quinn served as an underwriter and product manager within the National Specialty Programs division at All Risks, Ltd., where he also took on the oversight of their CAT property managing general underwriter, PREXA.
