Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta, the only insurance company specialized in health insurance, took an important step towards achieving its 2030 targets and made a senior appointment. Aslıhan Duymaz, who has nearly 25 years of experience, was appointed as the new General Manager of the company. Duymaz, who has been acting in this position since May, will officially start her duties as General Manager as of January 1, 2025.
Duymaz, who graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Mathematics and completed her master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences at the University of London City, started her career at Commercial Union Hayat A.Ş.in 2000. Between 2004 and 2006, he worked in the Planning Department of Ak Emeklilik A.Ş. in the areas of actuarial modeling, budget and commission reporting. Between 2009-2012, he worked as Group Manager responsible for pricing and reporting at Aegon Hayat ve Emeklilik A.Ş.
Between 2012-2017, he worked at Aon Hewitt Turkey as an actuary and manager in the fields of pension, financial services and insurance. Between 2017-2021, he worked as a Director at KPMG Financial Services Consultingin the fields of consulting and audit expertise for the insurance sector, and as a Partner in 2022-2023.
In April 2023, Mr. Duymazjoined Bupa Acıbadem Sigorta as Technical Assistant General Manager and was responsible for Actuarial, Corporate Pricing, Data Analytics, Data Technology Office, Medical Evaluation and Compensation units. He was appointed as Acting General Manager in May 2024 and will continue to serve as General Manager as of January 1, 2025.
