Leadership Appointment and Structural Reorganization

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has unveiled a significant leadership transition alongside a comprehensive reorganization designed to enhance service delivery to corporate clients and brokers on a local scale. The appointment of Katie McGrath as Chief Underwriting Officer marks a pivotal moment for the company.

McGrath brings over 25 years of extensive experience in diverse roles within the commercial insurance sector. She joined the company in 2019 as Head of Accident & Health North America and ascended to the position of CEO of North America in 2022. Based in New York, McGrath will report directly to Ivan Gonzalez, CEO of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. Gonzalez remarked, “Following Kera’s well-deserved promotion, I am delighted to have such a capable successor in Katie. Disciplined underwriting is crucial for our business’s sustained success, and I have full confidence that this appointment positions us well to continue delivering technical excellence to our clients.”
