Ted Calligeros Appointed as Head of Cargo for North America at Parsyl
Parsyl, a data-powered insurer for essential supply chains, has appointed Ted Calligeros as Head of Cargo for North America. He will be responsible for driving underwriting strategy and expansion across the region, and will be based in New York City.
In his new role, Calligeros will establish a local office and continue to build out Parsyl’s North American underwriting team to serve more clients and manage a broader range of risks.
He has a decade of underwriting experience. Prior to this, he served at Loadsure, a cargo-focused insurtech, as Executive Vice President, leading ocean cargo and inland marine underwriting. Before that, he spent eight years at global insurer Allianz in various cargo underwriting roles.
