Support for Earthquake-Affected Students from Türkiye Katılım Sigorta
Türkiye Katılım Sigorta, which visited the earthquake-affected region last September, continues to support the schools in the area with a new visit this year. During the last visit, stove assistance was provided to students, and they were gifted boots and jackets that they would need during the winter months.
With the “Our Insurance is Love” project held between February 3-5, Türkiye Katılım Sigorta aimed to be a source of morale for earthquake-affected students by bringing them together. On the second anniversary of the earthquake, this event held in Reyhanlı and Kumlu districts of Hatay aimed to bring smiles to the faces of children during a time when healing in the region continues.
Boots and Jackets Gifted to 400 Students
After the earthquake in 2023, which caused significant destruction in 11 provinces, the challenges faced by children continuing their education in schools persisted. As part of the project initiated for children receiving education in container schools after the earthquake, a total of 400 students received boots and jackets. Türkiye Katılım Sigorta visited Paşaköy Başköy, Suluköy, and Davutpaşa primary schools in Reyhanlı, as well as Akkerpiç primary school in Kumlu district, spending time with the children. Additionally, coal stoves and electric heaters were delivered so that the schools could continue their education in cold winter conditions.
They Became a Hope with the “Our Insurance is Love” Project
As a corporate social responsibility project, the “Our Insurance is Love” campaign, which is a continuation of the “We Are in Hatay for Little Hearts” project launched by Türkiye Katılım Sigorta in September 2023, aimed to provide morale and support to children in the region. During the event, students spent a fun-filled day with entertaining games, various snacks, and balloons, celebrating the anniversary of the earthquake in a hopeful atmosphere. Türkiye Katılım Sigorta plans to continue its projects with a sense of social responsibility in 2025 as well.
